Deborah Henley  Co-Founder and Director

Originally studying Beauty Therapy and Cosmetic Chemistry, Deborah completed the Diploma in Dance Education in her birthplace of Sydney, Australia. She began studying Pilates with Alan Menezes, and then with Nicole Vass and Ingrid Shaw. Deborah has been working as a comprehensively trained teacher in Australia and the UK since 1997. She graduated in 2010 from The Pilates Center Teacher Training Programme in Boulder Colorado, where she has also completed the prestigious Master's Programme.
In 2001 Deborah co-founded The Pilates Room to offer the public access to the highest standards in Pilates education, at the same time sharing her long-time passions for movement and wellbeing.

Mario F. Perez  Co-Founder and CEO

Mario is a truly entrepreneurial business man. He started his first company in Mexico City when he was 16 years old. He is in charge of putting the business magic into The Pilates Room and oversees that every client has a great customer experience. His involvement with the Pilates method began in 2001. Since then he has put the basic elements of the Pilates technique into his everyday life activities and gym workouts. He has experience of his own in nutrition and bodybuilding. Linda Zurak  Programme Director

Linda began studying the Pilates Method in 1993 with Diane Miller in Vancouver, BC. She received her formal training from The Pilates Center in Boulder, Colorado graduating with honours in 1999. This is recognized as one of the most rigorous training programs in the world. After leaving a ten-year career in the financial industry, she ran her own studio for five years, specializing in the continuing education of Pilates instructors. Linda has worked in Canada, US and Europe pursuing her passion of "teaching teachers" and consulting studio owners in various aspects of running their business. Dairo, is the company's Marketing Director and has more than 10 years of experience within this field. Larissa O'Brien  Senior Pilates Teacher

Larissa trained originally as a dancer at the University of Melbourne before continuing as a professional dancer with various dance companies within Australia.
